Experience
Amy is a pop culture obsessive who celebrates all things camp, kitsch, and wonderful – from celebrity gossip and dark Hollywood secrets to the untapped trivia of forgotten '90s hits and the vast filmographies of cult filmmakers like Takashi Miike, John Waters, and Todd Solondz. Having started her career as a music journalist for publications like Clash Magazine and Kerrang, she moved on to write about movies, TV, and celebrity culture as a staff writer for Bustle. Since leaving that role, she's worked with a variety of publications including i-D, Broadly, LADBible, Allure, Film Daily, and The Mary Sue.
Education
Obtaining an Imaginative Writing BA hons degree from Liverpool John Moores University equipped Amy with a set of sharp and witty writing skills which endure to this day. For her dissertation, she focused on film and screenwriting, giving her a keen insight into the industry.
